SSCE performance measures the percentage of secondary school students who earned a credit in the 12th grade English and math exams. School selectivity measures the average ninth grade exam score of students admitted to a secondary school between 2005 and 2009. Peer quality measures the average ninth grade exam score of students admitted in the current year. Standard errors are clustered at the junior high school level and reported in parentheses; *p < 0.1, **p < 0.05, ***p < 0.01.
